Finance/Account Executive

8Hexa Financial is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance/Account Executive to join our finance department. This role is crucial for managing our financial records, overseeing accounts receivable and payable, and preparing budgets and financial reports. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management within a fast-paced, dynamic industry like payment services or fintech.

Key Responsibilities:

– Maintain and manage all financial records, spreadsheets, and ledgers.
– Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
– Manage invoices, track payments, and follow-up on receivables.
– Handle accounts payable and receivable duties.
– Coordinate with the compliance department to ensure all financial operations are regulatory compliant.
– Assist in the preparation of budgets and monitor expenses.
– Perform bank reconciliations and assist in auditing activities.
– Prepare tax documents for timely filing.
– Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and improve financial performance.
– Provide financial analysis and forecasts to assist in strategic planning.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the payment services, banking, or fintech sector.
– Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
– Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
– Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
– Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Desirable Skills:

– Experience with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
– Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with complex financial models.
